Blake and Mortimer figurines, Pixi and Collectoys collection

Jacobs attracts collectors most attached to documentary precision, and Pixi has understood this for a long time. Where other publishers offer a character on a base, Pixi constructs the complete scene: the sarcophagus of La Marque Jaune worked in volume around Mortimer, the Club armchair in the London living room for Blake reading, the tuxedo suit treated with the attention to folds and cut that Jacobs' clear line deserves.

Pixirama takes this logic even further. These lacquered wooden cubes contain a scene lit from the inside, can be stacked or rotated, and are produced in an edition of 200. The certificate is embedded on the back of the cube. The scene is lit from the inside and reveals the details of the characters in their dark background, a register that the figurines on bases do not achieve.

Collectoys offers an accessible alternative with Blake and Mortimer leaning on their collection, in 25 centimeter resin. Same universe, different purchasing logic: no short print run, no individual certificate number, but a format and finish that do honor to Jacobs' characters.
