Pixi Blake and Mortimer Gita, 200 copies: the Indian figure of La Marque Jaune
Gita is represented in her characteristic 1950s outfit in Jacobs' albums: the sari and Indian jewelry that Hergé would have documented with the same rigor as Jacobs for the sets of La Marque Jaune. The hand-painted metal restores the colors of the fabric, the details of the ornaments on the wrists and around the neck, the expression of the character.
Jacobs always took care of the outfit of his characters with an attention to detail that the clear line imposed: each fold, each button, each ornament is drawn in its exact place. Pixi translates this requirement into metal.
