Tintin, Snowy and the Porter, cover of Petit Vingtième
The scene does not come from an album box: it takes the cover of Le Petit Vingtième from August 2, 1934. Tintin in a light blue Chinese tunic, his hands in his pockets, Snowy at the foot of the post, a porter with a canvas bag coming up behind them. Simple passerby or threat, the drawing leaves the question open.
The post cuts the base in two. The two tunics are the same blue, the bag and the wood remain brown, the base remains neutral. This is Shanghai before the album was called The Blue Lotus.
