The bric-a-brac of Cigares du Pharaon, in black and white
Plate 22, box C2: Tintin and Snowy have just escaped drowning and come across Oliveira da Figueira. The Portuguese merchant speaks so well that the reporter leaves with Snowy's cage, bucket, skis, clock, and doghouse on wheels. The black and white version uses the palette of the album in black, before colorization.
The painted metal holds the pile of objects without melting them: each accessory remains legible, Snowy keeps his coat at the initial, the niche rolls behind. This is the same scene as the color version, in the material of the original plate.
