The composition includes a metal prohibition sign with the inscription in Smurf language, and the reactions of the characters who read it or who ignore it. The panel is reproduced to the scale of the scene: the metal board, the post, the letters or symbols. The Smurfs around have distinct attitudes depending on their relationship to the ban.
The metal panel is the most precise element of the composition: the letters are painted or engraved on a scale of only a few millimeters.
