Pixi Smurf Baluchon, 1,000 copies 2012: the metal traveler
Baluchon Smurf is represented with his stick and his bundle in the gesture of departure: one of the most immediately readable accessories in Peyo's universe, the silhouette of the departing traveler. The hand-painted metal restores the white of the costume, the exact blue skin tone of Peyo's Smurfs, the fabric of the bundle in its color.
The figurines from the first Pixi Smurfs wave of 2012 are remarkable for the finesse of the facial modeling: at this size, reproducing a Smurf face with its mouth, its eyes and its expressions in metal requires detailed painting work.
