Pixi Papa Smurf on a bike, 410 copies 2022: the village chief on the move
Papa Smurf pedals his bike in the ordinary posture of a cyclist: hands on the handlebars, legs in motion, white dress flying lightly in rhythm. Peyo gave Papa Smurf permanent dignity even in the most prosaic situations. The painted metal restores the white of the dress, the white beard, the characteristic red hat.
The bicycle is reproduced in metal with its spoked wheels, its embossed chain, its frame. This is the same precision as for scooters, applied to the old two-wheeled vehicle.
