Pixi Astérix Aux Bêtises by Camaracum, 250 copies: the volume store
Pixi reconstructed the interior of the Camaracum store in metal: the counter, the shelves stocked with sweets, Asterix and Obelix in the position of buyers in front of their display. The candies on the shelves are treated in relief, painted in bright colors, with enough detail so that we can distinguish the shapes through the window. It is a composition that takes into account the front view and the side view.
The hand-painted metal allows the small reliefs of the treats to be worked on a scale where the resin would require a separate casting for each piece. The volume store is the main technical challenge of this composition.
