The police wagon from the Transport collection
The green van from the Transport collection is presented as a diorama: the vehicle rolls across a grey and white base, leaving its trail behind, while a passer-by in a fez walks alongside, pipe in mouth and yellow basket on his arm. The scene reads at a glance, which is not so common on a piece this size.
The van itself carries the closed body, the roof vent and the chrome grille of the model from the albums. The base holds a small reproduction of the original panel, in the manner of numbered collections.
